And the word barbaric was repeatedly given to Persians while somewhere else we see the great, superman of Spartans throwing Persian emissaries down the pit. This film is reality in opposite direction. The film is a comedy as well since thousands of Persian arrows were thrown towards those 300 or something and they laughed under their shields while in reality they should have felt that they have to shiver.
